Captain Sara Parker
Captain Sara Parker has been on the Summer Hunter Team for more than 5 years as the Second Captain and brings over 20 years deep sea fishing experience to our fishing team.
“I was born and raised in Pensacola, Florida where my dad and grandfather got me hooked on fishing the Escambia River. Many summers were spent with my dad on the Bob Sikes Bridge.
In 2002 after High School graduation… some friends started working as deckhands in Orange Beach and invited me to ride along. At this point, it was my first time in the Gulf of Mexico and I fell in love with offshore fishing! I became a deckhand that summer and thank God for this opportunity. Since I’ve started as a deckhand I have worked my way up to a 100 ton Masters License and now my dream of being Captain of my own boat has come true. My goal is to provide the enjoyment of being out on the water catching fish, making memories, and becoming friends who become part of my “charter family” and I will continue teaching and helping people fish for as long as I am able.
My time off is spent with my son Rowan (who loves fishing as much as his mama) and our next-generation captain.”

Captain Mitch Parker
Captain Mitch Parker grew up fishing with his family and friends. Upon moving to the area, he immediately gravitated towards the Gulf. As part of the crew on the Summer Hunter, he gained experience and became a 100-ton Master Captain. As an integral part of the crew, he keeps customers smiling and fishing fun.
"As long as I can remember the water and fishing has been a part of my life. To do it in a way to make a living is a dream come true. Every day fishing is different and presents it's own challenges and rewards. The key to a great day on the water isenjoyment. Any day fishing is better than a day on the shore. To see the satisfactionon peoples faces when they reel in that first fish is worth the long days and early mornings. I hope to see that look on your face soon."
